Toronto 4 – Montreal 2

The struggling Maple Leafs met the Canadiens at home in Montreal on Thursday night hoping to avenge their honour following a 8-0 blowout by Florida only two days earlier. The Habs were coming off of a big win against Ottawa and young Carey Price got his first start in over a month.

Price played fairly strong but Vesa Toskala was even better and Toronto managed a 4-2 regulation victory over their bitter rivals. Darcy Tucker scored two for the Leafs and Kovalev and Plekanec got on the scoresheet for Montreal.
