Hurricanes 3 – Canadiens 2 (OT)

carolina-hurricanes-150The Habs lost another groaner to the Carolina Hurricanes last night in their final game of the season. Carey Price made a strong return in net but Cam Ward was outstanding in net for the ‘Canes and they managed to pull it off in overtime, a 3-2 victory that gave them a 3-1 lead in the now complete season series.

Robert Lang and Matt D’Agnosti scored for the Habs while the hated Sergei Samsanov scored Carolina’s first goal and Eric Staal notched the other two. Latendresse had a goal stolen from him in the third period on a bad call by the linesman.

Next game isn’t until Saturday when we visit Pittsburgh – CBC is airing the game coast to coast in Canada!
