February 19 – New York Rangers

With only one day off in between, the Montreal Canadiens jump from finalizing a season sweep of the Philadelphia Flyers to trying to avoid a sweep by the New York Rangers. The New York team is 3-0 against the Habs this season.

No confirmation yet but I’m guessing Carey Price, with a 3-1-0 record and 2.03 GAA since his recall from Hamilton, will get the start. The last game these two teams played together saw the Rangers come back from a 3-0 deficit to topple the Canadiens 5-3 so you can bet goaltending will play a major role in this game.

The Habs are currently in a three-way tie for first place in the Eastern Conference with the Ottawa Senators and New Jersey Devils; Ottawa plays Philly tomorrow night as the Flyers try to end their seven game skid. Let’s hope they’re hungry!
