Carbo went on the record to say that Saturday’s 6-3 loss to the Leafs was (I’m paraphrasing here) “the most embarrassing game I’ve been associated with in my history with the NHL.” That may or may not be an exaggeration but we can all agree the Habs played their worst game of the season. The real question following that was: can the Canadiens pick it up against Ottawa and show that they have what it takes to play a solid 60 minutes?
Well, last night’s game against the Senators was the best I’ve seen this season and maybe the best I’ve seen the Habs play in a year or better and it features lots of highlights. Carey Price stopped al 28 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season and Chris Higgins put three shots past Alex Auld to record his first career hat trick! Latendresse added the only other goal the game saw and suddenly the Montreal Canadiens are looking bigger and badder then ever!
